DO YOU HAVE A WIDE HORSE? A HORSE WITH A WIDE WITHER and moderate shoulder? Any saddle can be made with an extra open U shaped "HOOP" tree that is made for horses that are wider, example photos and tracings will be posted soon.

DO YOU HAVE A HIGH WITHER horse or a horse with prominent back bone? Try a BC Saddle with wither gussets or trapezius panel! We can do any saddle with custom options but also carry stock of the standard models.

Black Country declined the mass production demands and instead continued to use and source quality British materials, from the initial stages of the Wood laminated Spring Trees to 100% wool flocking, English leathers and qualified craftsmanship.

The use of wide gullets for good clearance, large panels to increase to weight bearing surface, dropped panels, point straps and wither gussets are combined to produce the best possible fit. The custom design of the tree allows us to offer a saddle to fit all types of horses, from the typically narrow and high withered thoroughbreds to the table top cobs and natives using a hoop tree method. The various seat sizes, length of flap and knee block options (even velcro blocking) mean not only are they designed to fit the horse but you too! The color and finish options are endless offering a truly custom made saddle.

We can answer any questions that you may have, we will gladly come to your farm if possible to fit a saddle in person. Your items will be shipped in a timely manner, please feel free to call with any questions.

What do we mean by a custom BLACK COUNTRY SADDLE?? This is one of the FEW brands that are true custom saddles, they do not start production until your order is placed and we can do just about anything to the saddle you would need.

We offer serge or leather panels, your choice of leathers and flap styles/length from Black Country Saddles at no extra charge made by the MASTER saddlers of Black Country Saddlery.

Any model you choose can be made custom or stock. We offer t he best selection of Black Country Saddles..

Trial Policy:

You are welcome to try
any saddle that we have in stock. We have used, demo
and new saddles. Customs saddles can also be ordered
at no extra charge on Black Country and Frank Baines
models.

Try our saddles risk free,
riding normally and girthing the saddle for up to 10
days. Please return the saddle on the 10th day, we need
a credit card on file for authorization against the cost of the saddle. Shipping is the responsibility of the customer, we will however offer a pickup service if you do not want to drive to UPS or Fed Ex.

Pickup service at your door step we would charge the send and return shipping to your card of $30 each way. Some customers prefer this option as
it saves them time and money as well. Modifications
to saddles and any repair work can be done however please
call (not email) so we can discuss in length. 609-226-8573
Kim is also certified as a fitter for FLAIR panel saddles, if you have a saddle fitted with FLAIR that needs adjustment.
